Service Description

Wireless Internet access for PC laptops and PDA's:

ecWest provides wireless equipment and services to allow the wine bar to offer 802.11a and 802.11b wireless access to anyone who carries in a PC laptop or a PDA. The wireless access is offered at a nominal cost and allows anyone to use their existing hardware to perform business meetings or access information from the Internet while relaxing in the wine bar.

DSL Network Installation and Maintenance:

ecWest ordered, managed, and installed a high speed DSL Internet line to be used for wireless access throughout the wine bar. ecWest performs periodic maintenance on the DSL line to ensure proper operation.

Network Security:

ecWest installed, configured, and maintains a Sonicwall SOHO3 firewall to prevent unauthorized use of the network in the wine bar.

Network Faxing, coping and printing

ecWest supplies the equipment and services to allow clients in the wine bar to use their existing PC laptops to FAX, copy or print using the wireless network.

Wireless Marketing Material

ecWest developed a simple way to install the wireless software on PC laptops using a installation CDROM and marketing materials such as brochures to promote wireless Internet access in the wine bar.
